Abstract: Hepatitis B is a serious infectious disease and commonly infects the liver and can cause both acute and chronic diseases. Pregnant women have a high risk of transmitting HBV infection to the fetus it contains. One of the HBV disease screening tests is HBsAg (Hepatitis B surface antigen). Infants born to positive HBsAg mothers will be at risk of HBV infection and may become hepatitis B careers. In Solok District General Hospital the number of frequencies of hepatitis B patients is 22 patients ofHBsAg positive pregnant women from 218 patients. This study aims to know the description HBsAg examination results in pregnant women in RSUD Solok in 2017. The research design used is descriptive, with data collection techniques HBsAg examination results in 2017.The study was conducted on February 26-March 31, 2018, with population of 218 pregnant women from HBsAg examination results, using immunochromatographic method (Rapid Test) at Solok Hospital Laboratory. HBsAg examination results in pregnant women in Solok District Hospital showed 196 HBsAg negative people with a percentage of 90% and 22 people HBsAg positive with a percentage of 10%. So it can be concluded that the percentage of positive results is lower than negative results.
