dc.description.abstractLife journey at the age of 40 – 55 years is a crisis experience in a woman's life, which will grow old and experience menopause. Various complaints that will be experienced by women during menopause ranging from mild to severe symptoms that are known as a climacteric syndrome. Prevention efforts with health education in avoiding risky behavior in menopausal women need to be emphasized. Doing physical exercise every day can be an alternative in addressing various symptoms experienced at the time of menopause. Maintain body fitness while maintaining the balance of weight and physical activity in the form of strength training muscles, bones and joints need to be applied in reducing menopausal complaints. The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of muscles, bones and joints strength training on decreasing menopause complaints. This study was a quasi-experimental (two-group design pretest-posttest with the control group) involving 70 menopausal women. Data were processed by univariate analysis and bivariate by the T-test. There were significant differences in the mean score of menopause complaints in the measurement of pretest and posttest in the intervention group. There was a difference in decreasing menopause complaints before and after the application of muscle and bone strength training. Physical activity movement according to age with a frequency of three times a week and a duration of 30 minutes each exercise needs to be done continuouslyen_US
