GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG PERKEMBANGAN ANAK USIA BALITA DI PUSKESMAS RAWAT INAP HILIWETO GIDO KECAMATAN GIDO KABUPATEN NIAS

Abstract

Children are individuals who are in a range of developmental changes ranging from babies to teenagers. Development means more complex capabilities, structures, and functions. Knowledge is the result of human sensing, or the result of knowing someone to an object from their senses. This study aims to describe the knowledge of mothers about the development of children aged under five and this research is descriptive. The sample in this study were 30 people by means of collecting data distributed questionnaires to respondents using quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that of 30 patients based on the level of knowledge of mothers stated that there were 9 people (30%), enough categories as many as 16 people (53.33%), and categories as low as 5 people (16.67%). It can be concluded that the mother's knowledge about the development of children under five in the Hiliweto Gido Inpatient Health Center of Nias Regency was mostly 16 people (53.33%) because mothers were able to know the development of their toddlers at the age of 9 months toddlers could sit alone for 60 seconds without support by pillows, chairs or walls, and have been able to move toys from one hand to the other.
