GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG PENYEBAB TERJADINYA DAN PENANGGIJbANGAN DIARli (GASTROENTERITIS) PADA BALITA DI WILAYAH KERJA UPTD PUSKESMAS HURUNA

Abstract

Knowledge is the result of knowing and this happens after people do sensing certain objects, especially about the causes and prevention of Diarrhea (Gastroenteritis). The main cause of death from Diarrhea is improper management both at home and in health care. This study aims to measure the level of knowledge of mothers about the incidence of Diarrhea (Gastroenteritis) in toddlers in the work area of the UPTD working area of Huruna health center. Measurement of research variables using standard instruments that have been tested for validity (0,632) and reliability values of 0,968. This type of research is descriptive. Sampling in this study using total sampling is 60 respondents. Data analysis techniques use univariate analysis in the study showed that the knowledge of the causes of the occurrence and control of Diarrhea (Gastroenteritis) in toddlers in the UPTD working area of Huruna health center was 29 people (48,3%), both 19 (31,7%) and fess 12 people (20%). ft can be concluded that the knowledge of mothers about the causes and prevention of Diarrhea (Gastroenteritis) in toddlers in the work area of the UPTD in the Huruna health center must be improved.
