Abstract: Helminthiasis is one of the diseases that still occurs in the community, but it does not receive enough attention (neglected diseases). One type of helminthiasis is caused by Soil Transmitted Helminth (STH) infection, which is a group of worms that have a life cycle through the soil. Helminthiasis are found in all age and genders groups. The prevalence of helminthiasis is still high in the tropics and developing countries, especially in low income rural areas. The poor knowledge of the mother has an impact on parenting, especially parenting that can prevent children from helminthiasis. The research aims was to looked at the description of mothers' knowledge and attitudes about helminthiasis And its treatment in Cimbang Village, Payung sub district, Karo Regency. This research used descriptive method with 35 samples taken by purposive sampling. The results showed that the mother's knowledge of helminthiasis and its treatment were in good (65.7%), moderate (17.1%), poor (2.9%), bad (14.3%). Category of mothers’ attitude were as good (54.29%), moderate (45.71%) and there is no in poor and bad category. The conclusion of this study was the level of mother's knowledge about helminthiasis and its treatment in the good category (77.71%), and the mothers’ attitude about helminthiasis and its treatment were also included in the good category (82.43%).
