Abstract: | Duwet fruit, dragon fruit and Dutch eggplants have the potential to be used as natural dyes because they have attractive colors. The colorant contained is anthocyanin which belongs to the flavonoid group. The purpose of this study was to determine the extract of natural dyes that provide an effective color on blush and to know extracts from duwet fruit, dragon fruit and Dutch eggplants provide effective color. This research method was conducted in a literature study, including: collecting library data, reading and recording, and managing research material on the literature obtained. Research results of literature I showed that Duwet water extract is effective as a natural dye in blush on formulations with a concentration of 0.75%. Literature II showed that dragon fruit extract is effective as a natural coloring in blush on formulations with a concentration of 15%. Literature III of the Dutch eggplant extract is effective as a natural coloring in blush on formulations with a concentration of 15%. It can be concluded that Duwet fruit, dragon fruit and Dutch eggplant are effective as natural dyes in blush on preparations. |
