GAMBARAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG PERAWATAN DEMAM TIFOID PADA ANAK DI PUSKESMAS PANCUR BATU PADA TAHUN 2017

Abstract

Typhoid fever is an acute infectious disease of the small intestine. According to WHO data (Word Health Organization) estimates the incidence rate worldwide is around 17 million per year with 600,000 people dying of typhoid fever and 70% of deaths occurring in Asia (MOH, 2013). This study aims to analyze the description of Maternal Knowledge Level on the treatment of fever in children in Pancur BatuPadaPental Health Center 2017. This research method uses Descriptive research design with population of 132 people. The sampling method chosen is accidental sampling with a sample of 25 respondents who are housewives who have anak.Alat used in collecting data in the form of questionnaires .. Data analysis is done univariat. The results of this study indicate that the majority of mothers have sufficient level of knowledge about treatment of typhoid fever in children with a percentage of 48.0% or as many as 12 respondents. Based on the results of this study is expected to increase mother's knowledge about treatment of typhoid fever in children.
