Abstract

Based on the result of AKI and AKB surveys conducted by North Sumatera Provincial Health Office with FKM-USU in 2010 mentioned that AKI in North Sumatera is 268 per 100.000 live births, and obtained that AKB in North Sumatera Province amounted to 23/1000 live births. To provide care in obstetrics at Mrs. J age 30 years old with continuity of care started from pregnant women, maternity, childbirth, and newborn and acceptor family planning in accordance with the standards careof midwifery and midwifery management. Midwifery care carried out is ongoing care with midwifery care management with SOAP (Subjektif, Objektif, Assesment, Planning). Midwifery care to Mrs. J, there is a anemia problem, with the result of Haemoglobin examination 10,8 gr%. In theory of pregnancy with anemia can lead to bleeding and deaths during childbirth and puerperium. Care in midwifery in a sustainable manner of Ms. J pregnancy with mild anemia does not lead to complications in pregnancy and chilbirth. The baby was born naturaly with the weight of 3200 gr, the length of 49 cm, the chest size 35 cm, the head circumference 34 cm, apgar score 8/10 with male gender.
