Abstract: | The purpose : To improve the knowledge and skills in providing midwifery care is continuity of care in pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and family planning newborn baby using obstetric management approach. Method : Case report. Result : Mrs. F was 25 years old, Gravide 2 Parity 1 Abortion 0 with a gestational age of 36-38 weeks. The last day of last menstruation 10-07-2017, and interpretation of labor 17-04-2018, no history of diabetes, asthma, heart disease, hypertension and no drug allergies. The frequency of the ANC in the first trimester once, second trimester once, third trimester twice. The caring which is provided is in accordance with the standards and has received two TT immunizations. During the ANC implementation only found physiological problems during the pregnancy of Mrs.F and it all can be resolved. At delivery Mrs.F has a grade 1 rupture, but problems can be resolved by performing perineal care. The puerperal perod goes well without any danger or complications in the mother. The last visit to the postpartum period had informed about the use of contraceptives, and the mother decided to become family planning acceptors depoprovera injections which were injected within three months. At BBL care for Mr.F there was no problem found. Baby was born normally cry, reddish skin, and active movements with APGAR score 8/10, no congenital abnormalities and defects, and the baby’s weight was 3.200 gram. Care at BBL is given as needed. Conclusion : Midwifery care provided from the pregnancy to the KB is in accordance with the standards and authority of the midwife. With the implementation of continuity of care which carried out, midwife is expected to reduce the reduction of Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) and the achievement of acceptors increases |
