dc.description.abstract | Maternal death and illness are still a serious health problem in developing countries. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2014 the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in the world is 289,000. Some countries have quite high MMR such as Sub-Saharan Africa 179,000 people, South Asia 69,000 people, Southeast Asia 16,000. Maternal mortality rates in Southeast Asian countries are Indonesia 190 per 100,000 live births, Vietnam 49 per 100,000 live births, Thailand 26 per 100,000 live births, Brunei 27 per 100,000 live births, and Malaysia 29 per 100,000 live births (WHO, 2014) . Midwifery care given to Mrs. D is a process to take decison and actions taken by midwive according to the authority and scope of practice starting from the period of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborns, and family planning. Thinking framework used in problem solving and systematic and data collection, analysis, and midwifery diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation as well as recording midwifery care. Mrs. D 27 years old, G2P1A0 first examined her pregnancy at 12 weeks. HPHT: 30-05-2017, Continuity of care is done four times, no history of DM, asthma, heart disease, hypertension. Newborn visits three times, postpartum visits four times, and have received family planning services. ANC application that has been done to Mrs. D found mild anemia problems in pregnancy and had been given Fe tablets and consumed fortified foods containing iron, vegetable protein, animal and minerals. Dificulty were not found in childbirth but complications were found: the mother stricken of perineal rupture, but the problem can be resolved by doing hecting degree II with the technique of brilliance. Doing IMD for 30 minutes. In care, newborns are not found to be dificulty and the baby is born normal. The short-term method is three month injection. Midwifery care given to Mrs. D during pregnancy there are no serious complaints but Mrs. D has mild anemia and anemia in the mother has been overcome. At maternal maternity care there is a second degree of perieal rupture, perineal wounds have been sutured and the problem has been resolved | en_US |
