Abstract: | Background: Iron deficiency anemia is the main cause of anemia in pregnant women in Indonesia with a fairly high prevalence. The results of Riskesdas 2018 state that anemia occurs in 48.9% of pregnant women in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to provide midwifery care to Mrs. S from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn, and family planning. The research was carried out at PMB T.H in January-April 2021. Methods: This study uses a case study with continuous midwifery care and documentation using the SOAP method. Data collection is carried out using anamnesis, general and special physical examinations through inspection, palpation, aulcutation, and percussion as well as laboratory examinations (Hb, urine, protein + glucose). Digital hemoglobin examination using easy touch and urine protein + glucose examination from one med. Furthermore, the interpretation of data, care plans, implementation of care, and evaluation of the results of care are compiled. Pregnancy care visits were carried out 3 times, postpartum care visits were carried out 3 times and newborn care visits were carried out 3 times, and family planning visits were also carried out 3 times. All data from the anamnesis and examination results were recorded on the research observation sheet. Result: Mrs. S GI PII A0 At the first visit, Hb was 8.5gr% at the third visit, Hb was 10.7gr%. Delivery by cesarean section for indication of prolonged labor. The postpartum period becomes a sub involution of the uterus. BBL Sexy Cesar with BB 3400 grams, TB 50 cm, LK 32 cm, LD 34 cm. Mother chose to be a candidate for a 3-month injection KB acceptor. Conclusion: Mothers with moderate anemia, labor with prolonged labor, postpartum with sub involution of the uterus, effective and sustainable midwifery care can improve the health of mothers and babies |
