Abstract: ABSTRACTThe Covid-19 pandemic has a psychological impact on society because the virus is very quickly transmitted from sick people to healthy people. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the anxiety of the people of Western Indonesia during the Covid 19 pandemic. This type of research is a cross sectional study. The population is all people of Western Indonesia with a sample size of 817 people. Data analysis used chi square test and multiple logistic regression. The results showed that there was a relationship between age (p = 004), education (p = 0.010), information sources (p = 0.000) and anxiety in Western Indonesians, there was no closest relationship between gender (p = 0.059). , knowledge (p = 0.94) with anxiety in Western Indonesian society. The education variable was the variable most associated with Western Indonesian society during the Covid 19 pandemic. The conclusion of the study was that there was a close relationship between age (p = 004), education (p = 0.010), information sources (p = 0.000) with anxiety on Western Indonesian society. It is recommended that the people of western Indonesia in facing the Covid 19 pandemic need to deepen their knowledge and information about Covid 19 and comply with health protocols and government recommendations so that they can face Covid 19 properly and not be full of anxiety
