Abstract

Background : Mothers and children, vulnerable groups, are family members who need to get priority in improving health. This group experienced the phases of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and growth and development. This is an important reason for making maternal and child health a priority for Indonesia's health development. Purpose : To provide midwifery care to Mrs. E, 41 and Mrs. R, 35 continuity starts from pregnant women, childbirth, postpartum, newborns and becomes an acceptor of family programs that are carried out in accordance with midwifery care and management standards. Methods : Continuous midwifery care and documentation using SOAP management. Results : Through the results of the study and examination, it was found that there were no abnormalities or complications found in the mother and fetus during pregnancy. In the third trimester, Mrs. E, complained of back pain but could be overcome by pregnancy exercise. Mrs. R gave birth, perineal rupture was done grade II and hecting, during the puerperium the mother had inverted mammary papillae, but could be treated with breast care, no complications were found. In newborn care, Mrs. R gave birth to a baby boy, weight 3000 grams, body length 49 cm, head circumference 34 cm, chest circumference 34 cm and no complications were found. At the end of the postpartum visit, the mother was given family planning counseling and the mother chose the implant method as a means of pregnancy control. Conclusion : Midwifery care to Mrs. E (during pregnancy) and to Mrs. R (maternity, postpartum, newborn and family planning services) was provided according to the standard of midwifery care.
