Abstract

Background : Maternal mortality rate is the number of maternal deaths that occur during pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum, and is used as an indicator of women's health status. Reducing maternal mortality is one of the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets to 70 per 100,000 live births by 2030. Purpose : To provide midwifery care to Mrs. R, 35 years of continuity of care starting from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn, and family planning services following the standards of care and midwifery management. Methods : Continuous midwifery care and documentation using SOAP management. Result : Continuous midwifery care is given to Mrs. R, GIII PII A0, during pregnancy the mother complained of pain in the lower back and it has been resolved with warm compresses, the second degree rupture was performed and the perineal wound was sutured, the baby girl was born spontaneously, weight 3400 gr, length 50 cm, circumference head is 33 cm, chest circumference is 34 cm, the baby is healthy and fit, there are no problems in postpartum, there are no problems in newborns, in family planning services, the mother is given counseling. Conclusion : During midwifery care, there were no complications found in mother and baby. Effective and sustainable midwifery care can improve the health of mothers and babies.
