Abstract

Background : Antenatal care (pregnancy examination) is very important for pregnant women because it can help reduce MMR and IMR. Another advantage of this examination is to ensure that the mother is always in good health during pregnancy, during labor and postpartum, and to strive for the baby to be born in good health, to monitor possible risks to pregnancy, and to plan optimal management of high-risk pregnancies so that they can reduce perinatal maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. Purpose : To provide midwifery care to Mrs. I, 25, with continuity of care, starting from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn care and becoming an acceptor of family planning programs carried out in accordance with midwifery care and management standards. Methods: Midwifery care is carried out on an ongoing basis accompanied by subjective, objective, and assessment documentation; and primary, secondary and interview data were documented with SOAP management. Result : Mrs. I, 25, GIIPIA0, third trimester pregnant. The first contact occurs when the gestational age enters 34-36 weeks; the first stage of labor care lasts 8 hours; in the care of the second time Mrs. I had a 2nd degree rupture and 2nd degree hecting with a knot technique; baby girl born spontaneously, weight 3200 grams, height 50 cm, head circumference 33 cm, chest circumference 34 cm, Apgar score 8/10; in the care of newborns performed umbilical cord care, IMD; during postpartum care, wound care, personal hygiene, breast care, and early ambulation are performed; and through family planning counselling, Mrs. I chose to use injection 1 (cyclofem). Conclusion : The care provided, starting from pregnancy to becoming an acceptor of the family planning program, is in accordance with the standards of care and the authority of the midwife
