Abstract

Background: Through research conducted by Mulyawati, et al (2018), it is known that 60 respondents were given a sectio caesarean delivery, 47 respondents (78.3%) of whom experienced prolonged labor. Through the test results, it is known that there is a significant correlation between prolonged labor and delivery by cesarean section. Purpose : To provide a midwifery care to Mrs. M, 24 years with continuity of care starting from pregnant women, maternity, postpartum, newborns, to acceptors of family planning programs that meet midwifery care and management standards. Methods: Continuous midwifery care and Varney's delivery were documented using the SOAP method which was carried out in accordance with the standards of midwifery care. Results: From the results of the study and examination of pregnancy, it was found that there were no abnormalities or complications found in the mother and fetus during pregnancy. The puerperium went well without any signs of danger or complications. On examination of newborns: baby girl, weight 3300 grams, length 49 cm, upper arm circumference 12 cm, head circumference 33 cm, chest circumference 34 cm, no defects and danger signs were found, given 1% tetracycline eye ointment and Vit Neo K 1mg/0.5 cc in 1/3 of the left outer thigh, and Hb0 immunization. In family planning care, mothers are given information and education about family planning and contraceptives, and mothers choose to be an acceptor of the 3-month injection method as a means of pregnancy control, used for 3 months. Conclusion : Midwifery care for Mrs. M, from pregnancy to becoming an acceptor for the family planning program, it is given in accordance with the standards of midwifery care and the authority of a midwife
