Abstract

Background : Every pregnancy considers normal hemodilution, while anemia in pregnancy occurs when the hemoglobin level is less than 11 g or less than 33% in the first trimester. Complaints of nausea experienced by 60-80% primigravida and and 40-60% multigravida. Constraints in labor often cause birth canal injuries such as perineal rupture and umbilical cord entanglement. Purpose : To provide a midwifery care to Mrs. D, 29, with continuity of care starting from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn, and becoming an acceptor of family planning programs by meeting midwifery care and management standards. Methods : The method used is Continuous Midwifery Care and is commented according to the 7-step management-Varney and SOAP. Results : During ANC, Mrs. D complained of anemia and nausea, the baby was born with umbilical cord entanglement but it was overcome and the baby started crying immediately, male, body length: 50 cm, weight 3200 g, Apgar score was 9/10 in the first minute and 10/10 in the first minute fifth, during delivery the mother experienced a ruptured repineum, no problems were found in the postpartum care, Mrs. D runs normally without complications, no problems were found in newborns. After the postpartum visit, the mother was given family planning counseling and she chose the implant method as a means of pregnancy control. Conclusion : Midwifery care, starting from pregnancy to becoming a family planning acceptor, is provided in accordance with midwifery care standards and the authority of a midwife.
