Abstract

Background: Midwifery care that prioritizes continuity of care is very important for women because they will get services from a professional or from a small team of professionals. Antenatal care (ANC) is an effort to maintain the health of pregnant women and their babies, which requires easy access to health facilities and quality ANC services. Purpose : To provide a midwifery care to Mrs. M, 20 years old, with continuity of care starting from pregnant women, maternity, postpartum, newborns, and acceptors of family planning programs that meet midwifery care and management standards. Methods: Continuing midwifery care with 7-step-Varney documentation and SOAP according to midwifery care standards. Result : Mrs. M, 20 years old, G2P1A0. baby boy was born spontaneously, weight 3400gr, length 47cm, head circumference 33cm, chest circumference: 33cm, Apgarscore 8/10. First stage labor care takes 7 hours. In the second stage of labor care, Mrs. M had a grade 1 perineal rupture and was given hecting. Newborn care is given as needed, proceeds normally without any abnormalities or complications in the baby. At the last visit during the puerperium, the mother was informed about the use of contraception and decided to become an acceptor of the IUD method as a means of pregnancy control. Conclusion : The care provided, starting from pregnancy to becoming an acceptor of the family planning program, meets the standards of midwifery care and the authority of the midwife.
