Caries are formed from food debris that sticks to the teeth and causes cavities. Brushing your teeth is a simple way to prevent caries. Therefore, parents play a very important role in preventing the incidence of caries in children through education on proper tooth brushing techniques and eventually it becomes a child's habit. The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between the role of parents in educating their children to brush their teeth with the incidence of caries. This study is a systematic review that examines several articles published from 2016-2022. The results of this study stated that there was a relationship between the role of parents in educating children to brush their teeth with the incidence of dental caries in children. This study concluded that the role of parents greatly affects the dental and oral health status of children, and the simplest and most effective way to play that role is to guide and educate children to brush their teeth with the correct technique.
