Abstract

The compliance coverage of pregnant women in conducting ANC examinations in the working area of the OnanHasangCommunity Health Center has not met the existing targets. IMD coverage and exclusive breastfeeding are still low. Information from midwives was obtained that most mothers only checked their wombs at the beginning of pregnancy just to confirm their condition. Several mothers also stated that they did not feel too worried because they had experienced previous births. This indicates that there are still pregnant women who do not fully understand the importance of regular ANC visits and in accordance with the established standards, because regular pregnancy checks in pregnancy can reduce mortality and morbidity in pregnant women. The aim of this program is to raise awareness of mothers to carry out ANC visits, perform IMD and provide exclusive breastfeeding for babies. The methods used are lectures, discussions and questions and answers accompanied by video and using an LCD. Then it was continued with discussions and questions and answers between the participants and the presenters regarding the importanceof integrated antenatal care, early initiation of breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding. The results obtained are the increased knowledge of pregnant women so that later the birth process will run smoothly and the baby is healthy, and mothers who havereceived the right information can become influencers for the surrounding community to promote ANC compliance and exclusive breastfeeding
