Gambaran Pengetahuan, Sikap, Dan Tindakan Siswa-Siswi Tentang Pemeliharaan Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut Berdasarkan Umur dan Jenis Kelamin di SD Negeri 101896 Kiri Hulu- I Tanjung Morawa Propinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Dental and oral health is an integrated part of overall health, so dental and mouth health issues need to be cultivated throughout the family and community environment. The level of knowledge, attitudes and actions for maintaining oral health are factors that affect oral health. This aims of study was to know the description of knowledge, attitudes, and actions on dental and oral health of primary school of 101896 students of Kiri Hulu-I Tanjung Morawa. This research was a descriptive study with a survey method conducted on 36 students using the technique of "proportional stratified random sampling". The research data were obtained through questionnaires about the knowledge, attitudes and actions of students about dental health primary school of 101896 Kiri Hulu-I Tanjung Morawa. Through the study, the following data were obtained from 36 respondents: 32 students (88.9%) were well knowledgeed, 4 students (11.1%) were well knowledgeed; 18 students (50%) are good and 18 students (50%) are moderate; 14 (38.9%) students acted well, 21 students (58.3%) acted moderately and 1 student (2.7%) acted poorly. This study concludes that the level of respondents' knowledge about oral health is categorized as good, interpreting attitudes towards oral health in the moderate category and interpreting actions on oral and dental health in the moderate category
