Abstract: Sleeping quality is a person's sleeping satisfaction that can be achieved with good hours of sleep. Inadequate sleep duration can affect the function of the endocrine system, especially related to impaired glucose tolerance, insulin resistance and reduced insulin response. Control of glucose in the blood is influenced by the response of pancreatic beta cells (insulin production) and insulin sensitivity (insulin resistance). The cause of type 2 diabetes is a lack of insulin production and decreased sensitivity of cells to insulin, resulting in increased blood glucose levels (hyperglycemic). This study aims to obtain an overview of the sleeping quality of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with blood glucose levels. This research is a systematic review designed descriptively, examining 5 articles published from 2017-2021 as research objects. From the five articles, it is known that: 373 patients suffer from diabetes mellitus, 180 patients have poor sleeping quality and blood sugar levels, 41 patients have poor sleeping quality but with controlled blood sugar levels, 57 patients have good sleeping quality with blood sugar levels. poor, and 95 patients had good sleeping quality with controlled blood sugar levels. This study concludes that the description of the quality of sleeping of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with their blood glucose levels is in the poor category.
