Abstract

Background: Pregnant women who suffer from anemia can have a negative impact on the health of the mother and the baby to be born and can increase the maternal mortality rate (MMR) and infant mortality rate (IMR). Anemia is caused by iron deficiency. ANC plays an important role in preventing anemia in pregnant women. Purpose: Implementing a continuity of care midwifery for Mrs. R, 33, according to midwifery care and management standards. Method : Continuing midwifery care and documentation with SOAP management. Result : Mrs. R, 33, GIIIPIIA0, third trimester of pregnancy, suffering from mild anemia and complaints of back pain, and all complaints can be handled properly. Mrs. R, second degree perineal rupture and suturing were performed. No problems were found during the puerperium. The baby's condition is monitored from birth until the neonatal care period is complete. Mother chose the short-term method for the family planning program, Andalan Laktasi pill. Conclusion: The care provided, from pregnancy to becoming an acceptor of the family planning program, is carried out in accordance with the standards of care and authority of midwives
