dc.description.abstractIce cream pot is ice cream that is stored in a barrel-shaped container or pot, made of metal/stainless which is then transferred to a transport barrel made of wood. Ice cream is in great demand by almost all people, from children, teenagers, to adults. Potted ice cream is the result of a home or individual industry. This study aims to identify Coliform bacteria found in ice cream pots sold at Simpang Simalingkar. This research is a descriptive study. The population of this study were 10 pot ice cream sellers at Simpang Simalingkar. Through research on 10 samples of ice cream pots, it was found that all samples were contaminated with Coliform bacteria. From the confirmation test table, the results obtained for all samples were MPN 240/100 ml sample, and confirmed that the samples were contaminated with faecal Coliform bacteria.en_US
