Yusniar, SKM., MKM..**.Faisal, SKM., MKM.** NURSING CARE IN CHILDREN WITH THYPOID FEVER WITH HYPERTERMI IN PANDAN REGIONAL GENERAL HOSPITAL OF TAPANULI TENGAH DISTRICT IN 2023 ABSTRACT Background: Typhoid fever in children is an acute infectious disease that usually affects the digestive tract with symptoms of fever lasting more than one week, digestive disorders and impaired consciousness. Based on the results of a preliminary survey conducted by researchers at Pandan Regional General Hospital, Tapanuli Tengah Regency, the incidence of typhoid fever in children in 2022 will reach 122 people. Objective: To provide nursing care for children with typhoid fever with hyperthermic disorders at Pandan Hospital, Tapanuli Tengah Regency in 2023. Method: This type of research was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach method with 2 respondents who experienced typhoid fever with hyperthermic disorders and the research location was Pandan Regional Hospital, Tapanuli Tengah Regency in 2023. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observations, physical examinations, and documentation studies. Results: Client assessment 1 main complaint was fever, nursing diagnosis of hyperthermia, main intervention was warm compress. Day 1 body temperature 37.8°C, day 2 body temperature 37.5°C and day three body temperature 36.5°C. Client assessment of 2 main complaints of fever, nursing diagnosis of hyperthermia, main intervention of warm compresses, implementation carried out, namely administering warm compress therapy. Body temperature after applying warm compresses on day 1 body temperature 37.°C, day 2 body temperature 37.8°C and day three body temperature 36.5°C. Conclusion: Client 1's problem was resolved on the third day with the specified outcome criteria, namely a body temperature of 36.5°C. client 2 resolved according to criteria for a body temperature of 36.5°C.
