Moringa leaves, with the Latin name Moringga oleifera Lam, is a plant that is rich in nutrients, especially vitamin C which is beneficial for health. According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health in the Indonesian Table of food composition (TKPI), it is known that every 100 grams of fresh Moringa leaves contains 22 mg of vitamin C. This research is a systematic review of 5 journals that examine Moringa leaves as research objects, aiming to get an overview of vitamin C levels in Moringa leaves, and was carried out from December 2021 - June 2022. The test method used in 5 journals is Uv-Vis Spectophotometry, Test of variance (F test) and Honest Significant Difference at 5% and 1% level, and iodometric titration method. The results of the research by Cahyati et al. 2016 showed that the ascorbic acid content of young Moringa leaves growing in coastal areas was 361.71 mg/L, old Moringa leaves in coastal areas was 363.49 mg/L, young Moringa leaves growing in mountainous areas was 308 mg/L. .66 mg/L, and old Moringa leaves in mountainous areas is 312.05 mg/L. Research by Sarni, et al, 2020, stated that the vitamin C content of Moringa leaves growing in lowland areas is 296.40 ppm, areas with medium altitude are 267.12 ppm and highland areas are 413.71 ppm. Research by Masdiana, et al., 2016, stated that the levels of vitamin C in Moringa leaves were 7.96 mg/g, 8.71 mg/g and 7.22 mg/g. Fajri's research, et al, 2018, found vitamin C levels which were divided into 4 levels: 0-150m asl = 88.15 mg, 151-300m asl = 84.89 mg, 301-450m asl = 78.61 mg and >451m asl = 75.18 mg. Research by Nastiti, et al, 2019, found vitamin C levels of 0.5920 mg / 10 g of Moringa leaves. Through the data, it is known that the difference in the results of vitamin C levels in several articles is influenced by the environment in which the plant grows which affects growth, morphological characters, the content of active compounds in a plant, and stress levels due to environment, temperature, light and humidity that can affect the production of secondary metabolites from the plants.en_US
